In part three of our Walking with God series, Ps Wiryohadi dives into what it means to truly trust in God. This message, Trust in God, highlights that walking with God requires us to rely completely on Him and His Word, even when we face challenges.
Drawing from Jeremiah 17:7-8, Ps Wiryohadi outlines three key characteristics of a person who genuinely trusts in God. First, they have unwavering faith in Him, no matter the situation. Second, they are willing to take risks, knowing that God is in control. Finally, they are obedient, committed to following God’s instructions and promises.
Ps Wiryohadi explains that God’s covenant of blessing is unbreakable—it stands firm no matter the challenges or crises we may face. Just like Isaac who prospered during a time of famine, those who trust in God can experience extraordinary blessings, even in the midst of difficulty. God’s promises are not limited by human circumstances, natural laws, or even societal systems; they are guaranteed by His faithfulness.
The message also reminds us that the blessing is not tied to our specific jobs or actions but rather to our relationship with God. Just as Abraham was blessed wherever he went, we too can experience His favor when we place our trust in Him. Ps Wiryohadi encourages us to be peacemakers and to avoid unnecessary conflicts, knowing that God has a provision for every situation.
Trusting in God means more than just believing in His ability to bless us—it’s about cultivating a relationship where we confidently walk in His promises, knowing they are true regardless of what we face.
